Dealing with First American has been a customer service nightmare! We submitted our claim on 6/10 due to a bathroom flood upstairs. The work is still not finished at the end of October! It's been almost five months! Phone calls and emails go unanswered and checks are delayed for no apparent reason. Our final request for a supplemental was submitted over five weeks ago and we have no response. We've tried phone calls and emails to both ****** and her supervisor ***** but there is no response. I submitted a request for a return phone call to their claim center and let them know of the difficulty two days ago - still nothing. I'd really like to wrap this up! When we did receive return calls in the past from ******, her tone was so rude that it's unconscionable to me why in the world they would place someone with that kind of tone in customer service.Most recently, my mortgage company sent me a letter that I'm potentially in breach of contract because I haven't scheduled an appointment for an inspection of the final work. I've tried to schedule an inspection four times now but they're unable to complete the inspection because the work isn't finished and all the claim checks are not yet accounted for. My mortgage company called First American to get an updated inspection report and the mortgage company was also ignored. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC!

You live in an apartment, you moved out. Those scam bag will keep charging you even if you move out. Few would notice this as the rental insurance amount is very small, and I have been charged for over a year since my lease ended. At this point I really dont care about the amount I was charged unfairly.Please take this as a warning: shady businesses and their owners with rotten hearts like this should not even exist. Period.

Mark ****** has been an amazing help and got me into temporary housing while my home is getting a fixing! He is super cool kat from OK and is all about taking care of the customer. The first IA was unresponsive, but when my claim went to him its was go, go, go! I 150% recommend this insurance as they are amazing and get it done! I am super happy with my choice. Those who are giving bad ratings, sorry but this place and Mark specifically has been super helpful and amazingly nice. Customer service is on point and a pleasure to work with!!! Mark Grubbs you sir are the pinnacle of exceptional service! Love you guys! My 5 kiddos, me and the wifey are super greatful!!!! 10 Stars if I could!!!!

My foundation is moving because of a busted pipe and it has taken months for them to make what should be a clear cut decission to fix my foundation. The engineering company that I hired and gave me a major report outlining how it has moved they do not accept. The two engineering companies they sent out... still have no word two months later. They have broken the good faith law for sure and by all the comments and ratings it looks like they are wide open for a class action lawsuit. If any one is interested to join please let me know. ************ ** **********
