            I booked a room through Snap Travel app, I pre-paid in full. We showed up and there were only 2 women in the entire hotel trying to clean the rooms and work the front desk. After waiting 2 hours they said they could not accommodate. The front desk girl was very young and very stressed. The owner had left them alone and they were clearly overwhelmed and not trained housekeepers. They said sorry we are understaffed and we can't offer a refund or a referral to another hotel. This business seems like it is running corruptly there is some unprofessional action happening at the cost of female workers scared of losing their jobs. Please investigate.

            On Memorial day weekend, we arrived right at 3:00 PM check in time and provided our ID and credit card. We were told that a room would be available in **** minutes. Another couple arrived and they gave them our room but assured us a room would soon be available. We went for a 1 hour dog walk to return with the assurance that a room was available in 15 minutes. No room....so we went for another walk and returned at 5:30. Again we were told "the room is almost available". After waiting 5 minutes, we said we would cancel our vacation and drive home. The front desk girl was nice and apologized and we were not to be charged. We left. We were charged and management was adamant that we would not be credited back. We were never given a receipt as required by **************** law (5.25.026). It saddens me that the new management of this hotel is not favorable to the Laguna that we used to know....**** and *******
