Be sure to get all of your questions answered prior to hiring this law firm! I was very diligent about who I would hire to represent my family, and my attorney at the time advised us that everything would be taken care of, but never did they give us the proper information from the beginning, for example, how to initially start any change of court orders if filed in a different state. We were told this law firm would handle everything from beginning to the end. They are not knowledgeable when it comes to rules across different states. And after spending a couple thousand to find out we now have to start over in a different state, spend more money on another attorney who is doing the job correctly, this is not only a waste of money, but also time and it's infuriating. And they are denying paying back all court/legal fees paid to them, for something that has to be handled in a completely different court system, state and county. They are only agreeing to pay us back the remainder of our retainer and are refusing to back down from their lack of care for us at their client.
