I originally purchased 2 retractable screen doors at a home show at Cashman Field about 10 years ago. I had never seen this type of screen door before so I had a lot of questions. They assured me it was covered completely under a lifetime warranty and if anything should go wrong it would be repaired at no cost. After a bout 3 years, one screen kept refusing to work properly and after a long time of fighting with it, we just tore it out. The second door worked very well for many years. After 8 years, it wasn't working well, struggled to close so I called for service. I decided to replace the screen and the rest was serviced. A couple weeks later, someone pushed through it knocking it off the track and again I called for service. 2 years later, my screen was coming apart at the top and tearing when it would roll back into the housing, which it never did before it was serviced. I felt that when the new screen was replaced it was not installed properly and that was why it was pulling away from the slide bar and tearing. So when I told them it was under a lifetime warranty, they began to tell me about all the limitations to their warranty. I told them it was a workmanship issue and they claimed it was not and would not stand by their warranty. Of course by that time the company had been sold and the new owners apparently decided not to honor previous warranties. So now what ever was wrong with the door they will find a reason it is not covered under the warranty. THEY decided it was not a workmanship issue and would not honor their warranty, I did not agree and the manager/owner, Stephanie, proceeded to scream at me over the phone. So all that talk about customer satisfaction is a joke and just something they tell their customers as they do not stand behind their warranty, nor do they care about offering "quality" customer service. Yes, that is what the ad says. I am a customer and I am far from satisfied. Loved the manager screaming at me over the phone, very professional.
