Follow up to posting from November re our 3 year remodeling. I detest having to do this.This is NOT a class act company. The words industry standard are a mantra. I assume that means "construction grade". ****************** very poor.Issues:Pocket doors (flimsy framed) - fell from track; 2 of 3 screws 1"; latch doesnt line up w strike plate & wont lock. Paint & Texture on *********** trim in **************** upper wall seams w ceiling not beaded/smoothed; vents sprayed w texture & paint; lower portion of bare walls not primed or painted prior to installation of baseboard (note house was empty at time of spraying); texture is nibbed; some areas look like splattered vomit.Led mirrors - not properly anchored; bar lights crooked/slanted w gap between base and wall.Bdrm vent left disconnected - air conditioned the attic; 3 visits before fixed.Ceilng fan vented into attic vs outside (code issue) Closet headers Unsightly silver metal track cut short; gaps covered w narrow white trim piece that has since become unattached. Walls not plumb; corners not squared. Bi-fold patio doors - reveal of frames irregular from top to bottom. Separate window panel doesnt line up.Adjacent kitchen window ***** have different heights. Original framing was blamed. Homeowner not consulted change order?Flooring - 1st floor tile simulates wood on the stairs; grout gaps are excessive & irregular; are extremely troughed; some tiles are raised. Sharp-edged gaps pinch bare feet; shoes stick; furniture impeded from sliding feely. Although the manufacturer recommendations give leeway, I wasnt consulted for preference. Who wants grout issues these days?Stairway carpet inserted in-between wood trim on the outskirts. The bottom step was supposed to be all wood (as per showroom). JDR via *********************** provided the phone number of the flooring owner (****) but he does not return my call and JDR is avoiding responsibility. I could write a book....
