On June 13th 2021 I, *******************, purchased a 2015 Volvo XC60, VIN ending in F2571067, from ********************************. The vehicle came with a 60 day warranty. (Attachment). On July 8 2021, I brought the car into the service department for an Oil leak. (Attachment)- ************* doesn't have the tools required to do the job, they sent it to ****** Volvo. ****** Volvo did the work of repairing/replacing the piston rings, in the process of doing so, had to remove and replace a wide range of parts. (Attachment) - They delivered the vehicle back to ******* on September 14 2021. On May 27th 2022, I contacted ****** Volvo regarding a coolant hose that's leaking (Picture of hose Attachment). - I was told that this repair was in fact covered by ****** Volvo's 2-year warranty on the repair. - I was told that a Volvo Dealership in San Diego could do the covered work to fix the coolant leak. Volvo of San Diego proceeded to tell me that they would NOT uphold the warranty for me, since ******************************** were the ones that brought the car in for the repair, even though the car was in my name at the time. Basically since someone else brought my car in for a repair, Volvo of San Diego says they won't honor the repair on my car because I wasn't the one that took it in. My car is not safe to drive at this point. I need a car for work as a real estate agent. I must now pay to rent a car, during the time that this is resolved. I would like Volvo of San Diego to repair my vehicle's coolant leak. Additionally I would like ****** Volvo to reimburse me for rental car starting today June 1st, 2022, until the repair of my vehicle is completed.
