    Things to expect when going to take your car in at this repair shop: 1. Your appointment date will not be respected. If your car is driveable, expect there to be a delay. There is a lack of transparency. I had my appointment set for a month out, which was fine because I understand that under the pandemic circumstances and shortages in parts and supplies, there is bound to be a waiting period. I requested time off (which at my employment requires a month's notice) and patiently waited for my appointment day. Less than 24 hours before my appointment, ********, their secretary, calls to say that they have been behind due to some of their mechanics falling sick. She then attempts to book me for another month out. I understand that employees falling sick is unpredictable but to postpone my appointment by another month is unreasonable. She then transferred me to the manager who offers to pick up my car or to keep the shop open a little after hours so that I could drop off my car. I agreed to have my car picked up. A week passes by and no one from the shop calls me. I have to call to check on the status of when my car was going to be picked up. ******** tells me that the next availability is still a month out from my original appointment. The manager gets on the phone with me again and says that the reason why they were backed up was that ****** insurance company kept sending over wrecked cars and they have been having to accommodate and prioritize un-driveable cars over mine. The story that ******** originally told me did not match the story of the store owner. 2. There is zero communication, lack of transparency and integrity. On my first visit to the shop for them to document and generate an estimate, the manager told me he would submit the report that day and he advised me that there might be a **** day waiting period because of the incompetency of the insurance company. When I received the paperwork in the mail, it entailed receipts of when the estimate was submitted and the manager did not submit the estimate until 11 DAYS after I visited the shop. If you are seeing them through an insurance claim, they require you to pay the ***** check amount prior to starting ANY work- including the "tear down". They do not tell you this prior to you coming in to drop off your car. They do not provide you with an estimate. When I dropped off my car, the estimate was listed as "Tear down" with no numerical value attached. My car sat in their garage for 7 days without being touched because I did not give them the check. When I called to ask for the status, ******** says to me, "You were supposed to bring the check. I'm not going to place an order for $2,000 worth of parts", although she and I both knew that the parts were estimated to cost $600 and labor was $1,400. 3. Scratches to the car. My experience with this company was exhausting and stressful and I was highly dissatisfied. I did not want them doing any work on my car. My car was returned to be with a layer of dust, mud stains on my carpets, scratches on the sides of my car, and a foul smell inside the car. Please be aware of this horrible business.
