on 3- 9 - 2025 I received a phone call from select admin solution, wanting to collect an overdue bill of $596.10. They said it was from a medical lab and that if I did not pay it immediately they would add a 45% late fee and report this to the credit unions. They somehow must have known that I actually did have a bill from my doctor for $591 which I had not paid yet. This made me think the call was real. I found out after I paid the collection agency with my debit card that this was not a collection agency and that I did not owe anything to my doctor yet, nor had they sent me to a collection agency. Even though I had a bill for $591 from my doctor it was being billed to Medicare and I was not responsible for it yet and they didn't send it to a collection agency. In fact I had a balance of 0.
