Description

After coming across a job opportunity on the KSL Classifieds app and signing up for a secret service opportunity, I received a nice-looking envelope in the mail addressed from Anna Buhara in Everett, WA. The envelope contained a check from Beacon Oral Specialists Management LLC for $3496 and an letter instructing me to deposit the check in my bank account, take a $300 reward for myself and $196 for transportation/fees, then get $3000 cash. The letter instructed me to take the $3000 cash to Walmart and purchase three blank money orders, to take pictures of them and text them to "Mr. Stephen Gardner" at (256)-305-3276, then he would provide me with a mailing address to send them via "Ups" (lack of capitalization intentional). The letter says that the scammer company has someone who will call or show up at my door to retrieve the envelope if I don't contact Mr. Gardner quickly. There is also an extra incentive of a $300 Walmart gift card voucher if I complete the task within 48 hours.
