Description

After hours-long holds to speak to the airline to add our TSA numbers to our tickets, I looked for another number online. A site popped up promising no wait times, online 24/7, displaying the airline's official logo. Called the number and was told my booking was PENDING because the price had changed while I was paying for my tickets online. Wanted an additional $577 to keep the booking. Suspecting this was a scam, I said I would need to discuss this with my travel partner and would call back and he gave his direct phone number (888-502-2596) - nobody does that from toll free lines… Interestingly, the airline's website went down right after this for maintenance. While the site was down, I received an email saying my voucher request (cancellation) was being processed and they would get back to me, this included a case number. Looked for a more legitimate phone number, reached a real agent who was able to cancel the voucher request and verify our seats were paid in full and not pending. The agent was going to submit a fraud report. Thankfully, we were able to save our trip and lost no money. Also, upon searching for the reservationmachine.com website, we found it had been removed and is no longer accessible. Beware! Talk only to the actual airline!
