Description
On December 8, 2025, I placed an online order with bbqgrills.com for a grill advertised as in stock, totaling $1,349.73. My credit card was charged in full on December 9, 2025. Despite the company’s claim that in-stock items ship within 5–7 business days, my order was never shipped and no tracking information was ever provided. After the shipping window passed, I discovered numerous consumer complaints and reviews describing the exact same scheme: customers are charged in full for “in-stock” products that are never shipped, followed by repeated delays, false explanations, and eventual loss of communication—often until the credit card dispute period expires. I contacted bbqgrills.com by email requesting a shipping update or cancellation. Although the company claims emails are answered within 24 hours, I received no response. On December 17, 2025, I reached customer service by phone and spoke with a representative named Angela. She claimed my order had not been processed due to a warehouse inventory count and suggested shipment might not occur until January 2. This explanation is not credible and directly contradicts the product being advertised as in stock. This delay tactic is widely documented in consumer complaints against this business. I explicitly requested cancellation and a refund. Angela stated a “cancellation request” would be submitted and that the accounting department would email confirmation the same day. No confirmation was ever sent, and no refund has been issued. Since that date, bbqgrills.com has actively avoided communication. I have called customer service repeatedly during business hours (multiple times per week), with no answer. The sales department initially acknowledged my calls but claimed they could not assist and later stopped answering altogether. The company has effectively gone silent while retaining my funds. This is not a fulfillment issue—it is a pattern of deceptive and bad-faith business practices involving false inventory claims, charging consumers without intent to deliver, and intentional delays designed to prevent refunds. As of today, bbqgrills.com has retained $1,349.73 without delivering the product or honoring a cancellation request. I was forced to file a credit card dispute due to the company’s refusal to communicate on this matter.
