I used Carmen as a health insurance broker in 2025 after my father found her via a patient advocate. She signed me up for Detego health gigcare outside of any enrollment period. I didn't know how she was able to, but after a year of research, I found out that this insurance basically doesn't have rules or regulations that apply to it. Detego health randomly removed any mental health services, especially telehealth, recently without any notice from Carmen or the insurance itself. Then, the worst of it is that I made it clear that I didn't want to use her again for 2026 signing up with Georgia access (marketplace). In spite, she contacted my father who has Parkinsons disease (bad memory) and talked him into letting her be my insurance agent once again (not broker apparently), to help me find new plans on that website. When I checked the website a couple of days ago to see what plans are available, I saw her name in my profile listed as my agent. I clicked remove this agent. I had to then call Georgia access to ask how she became my agent and they explained how they apparently received permission via my father. For that reason in particular, I am here reporting her and the business she works for/owns (I don't even know). She also claimed Detego will be no longer in 2026, which isn't surprising considering their D- BBB rating currently. Any important issue I had with Detego (such as finding mental health services), she would ignore when I asked why Detego wasn't helping me. This all just scratches the surface with the lies she told me and the lack of help she gave me.
