I began messaging one of the tattoo artists, Kiki, on TikTok. She asked me to move to email communication. We discussed a tattoo and set a date. I paid $*** for the deposit. The next day, Kiki messaged me to say she needed an additional $90 to solidify my appointment. I paid the $**, equally $*** total. A few days later, Kiki informed me that she was canceling my appointment and if I wanted to move my appointment to another date, I need to pay an additional $150. When I called her out on this, she said that this is standard procedure. After much arguing, she agreed to refund me the following day. It has now been over 24 hours and I have not received a dime. This studio scams paying clients.
