Raid at Call Centre in Mumbai, India Results in Tax Scam Reduction

BBB Scam Tracker has only been around for one year and is already showing results. Law enforcement agencies are able to use the database information to assist in tracking down and dealing with fraudsters and scam artists.
Canadian Scam Tracker information for 2015 indicates, topping the list in terms of number of complaints, is the ongoing CRA Tax Scam. The scam artists made use of Phishing Emails and Threatening Phone Calls. Many people received a phone call, or know someone who did, from a con artist posing as a government agent with threats of fine and/or imprisonment. For more details on the raid, go to
