WEST SACRAMENTO, CALIF., – Eighty years ago, Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Northeast California was founded by a group of business and community leaders to help create a marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other.
Over the last eight decades, BBB has helped people make smarter buying decisions by setting standards for ethical business behavior, and monitoring compliance by reporting on over 90,000 businesses in the Northeast California region.
“People are often overwhelmed with information when they go to make a purchase, or hire a business. We believe that in our 80 years we have proven ourselves to be a worthy resource with unbiased and trustworthy information,” said Lynn Conner, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). “We would especially like to thank the 6,000 local businesses who have chosen to support our efforts and become BBB Accredited Businesses; without you, our mission would be impossible,” Conner added.
Better Business Bureau offers its consumer and business services online, and in person. Some of our services include:
Through our efforts, BBB helps thousands of people each year. In 2016, BBB serving Northeast California mediated over 7,800 disputes, and assisted in the arbitration of 24 cases.
