I have trusted ********** Transmission to Service all or vehicles for years. I had transmission trouble awhile after the warranty was over. ***** said that if I didn't do something to the transmission to make it fail that he would take care of it. He repaired it at no cost to me. They stand behind their work.

This is hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. They have had my truck for well over a month and still haven’t even put my transmission back in my truck. There is little to no customer service or communication with Placerville Transmission. I have had to call multiple times to get anywhere with them, and every time I get through, the price seems to go up. I would advise everyone to steer clear of Placerville transmissionPlacerville Transmission Response

**********************, I sympathize with you. However, the bottom line is we do not have control over what and when parts are available to us in the current supply chain disaster. Every time we spoke, we were very honest with you in regards to the amount of time it takes us to complete a transmission rebuild. In the end we were one working day behind our goal to deliver your vehicle back to you. Also, your family has been customers of ours for years, we allowed you to bring your vehicle in 2 weeks ahead of time, which you aware that we were booked. You yourself told us everywhere you looked was at least a month out for appointments. As for the amount of the rebuild you authorized three different amounts. First the diagnosis (which you were not charged) the starting rebuild price, you were advised that was just a starting price and after tear down we would call with a final price. At that time you authorized the final estimate. Again, ********************** we sympathize with you but we were very honest with you regarding price and time.
