This place deserves zero stars, and ****, the manager, needs to be removed from his position. He is misusing the title by providing false and misleading information to the customers. Let me rephrase, female customers and people of different colors. I was looking for a car repair place that was *** certified, and once I received their information from the *** website, I called and doubled check with **** if they were *** certified. Once he confirmed, I provided detailed information about my car issue (**), and he provided me a quote and gave me an appointment for 6/7. On 6/7 my car was diagnosed and **** informed me there was a leak, and that the ** hose must be replaced and topped off with refrigerant. That day I was charged $89.95 for the diagnostic fee (with no *** discount). He also provided me a quote ($192.40 for an ** hose remove & replace, $57.52 for ** Hose, and $86.90 for refrigerant). I went home and in about an hour, I called **** to make an appointment. He told me that he needed to order the hose and will receive it by Wednesday, so it is better to come in on Thursday (6/10), so he gave me an appointment for 8.30 am. On 6/10, I took my car in at around 8:20ish and after waiting for like 5 minutes, **** strolls over, looked at his paperwork, turns around to me, and says, Oh, I havent received the part yet. I did not say a word and he goes on to say, Let me call the supplier and track it. After being on the phone for 5 mins, I waited for him to be on hold, then I told him that once he is done, he should call me on my phone with the status. I left since I took time off from work to make that useless run. After 30 minutes on 6/10, ***** calls me and said that the supplier had canceled the parts that he ordered. He said that I had a few options: first, was that he can expedite the hose and get it by Monday (6/14), wait until Thursday 6/17 at no extra cost to me, and/or the *** dealership has the hose at $140. I would end up paying a little more but will have a high-quality hose. When I asked him, What is the difference between both of the hoses? One at the lower price versus the one that costs higher, he wasnt even able to provide an answer to that. He mentioned if I want to go with the *** brand, then *** can drop the hose off today (6/10) around 2 or 3 pm, and my car will be fixed the same day. I decided to go with the appointment date of 6/17. After giving it a thought, I decided not to wait for too long, and instead, chose to pay a little extra in order to get the ** fixed sooner. I called **** **** (6/10), and asked him if I could instead go with the *** brand hose and get my car fixed the same day. He told me he will call right back after canceling the one he already ordered and call *** for their parts. He called me within few minutes (now that I am thinking how someone can call me back so soon), and said he canceled the part and ordered from ***. He also confirmed the same-day repair and for me to drop the car off at 2 pm. Before leaving, I called **** to confirm if he received the parts before I drive out there, and he confirmed receiving them. At 2 pm, 6/10, I took my car back to the shop. After waiting for 5 minutes, **** comes out, prepares my paperwork and I signed, I gave him the key and remembered that I was a *** member. I mentioned it to him at checkout, Can you apply that towards the labor?. He instantly told me that they no longer accept *** and that they were no longer certified. I reminded him when I spoke to him on 6/4, he confirmed they were certified and when I was there on 6/7, he forgot to include the member discount, so how come he is telling me something different. But he goes on to explain how expensive it was, and the owner decided to cancel it. I believe it is a lie because they still show up as *** certified. Before I left, I confirmed if my car will be ready by 5 pm. That is when things started to get ****. While I was quiet and did not ask questions, he was okay thinking me of a fool. He started to get agitated. He told me with an attitude, he is not sure whether it will be ready. So, I asked him again, that if I leave my car today, then I will have to a Lyft back to my house, then take a Lyft back again, whether my car was fixed or not. Then probably the next day repeats the cycle. It was a little weird because over the phone he told me by COB the same day my car will be ready and when I checked my car in, he changed his statement. When I mentioned that to him, he got so upset and started to show me attitude by saying you need the car fixed anyways. At this point, I knew, he was taking advantage and that he had provided misleading information. At one point, he told me okay I will get it ready by 5 and when I asked him to write it down on the quote sheet, he changed his mind instantly and said that he can not promise me anything. He also said that there could be more damage and leaks he may find while working on my car so he can not promise if my car can be repaired the same day. At this point, I knew what he was trying to do. So, I asked him to cancel my appointment and reverse the transaction (quote), and the paper I signed, he needs to note that I no longer want the service provided by him. He literally tore the paper in half and told me to take it back with me (almost with a rude tone and almost telling me off at this point). I just walked away. Now, to get my car repaired, I will have to go to the other shops, and they will do their own diagnostic. Meaning I will have to pay for another diagnostic test. Since **** lied and provided me with the wrong information, the store needs to return my money so I can have the test done elsewhere and get my car fixed. This is absolutely annoying and frustrating. First, he did not inform me on 6/10 that he did not receive the parts until I drove all the way down there. Secondly, he offered to provide me service with additional cost and changed his mind again. This place takes in walk-in (through my observations, mostly men, whom he treats so well ) while the appointment customers like me (females) are treated unfairly. All the reviews here are 100 % true because I went through the same thing. ***** customer service is so poor, and if you question him, he gets defensive. He thinks he knows everything and we, especially female customers are ****. This has to STOP. I would NEVER go to this place, ever again.HORRIBLE.
