            Im trying to secure housing for my family. When going through the application process I found out I have an eviction on my record. Ive never rented property or signed any lease with **** Property Management, I did for a short time stay with a friend at *************************************************. After learning this information I went to San Joaquin County Courthouse and confirmed my name wasnt on lease, and contacted **** Property Management to clear the issue up. I was told they werent willing to help because I stayed at property more than 3 days and the law allows them to do so. There is also a $0 balance on the account. I dont think its right for **** Property Management to keep an eviction on my record because I stayed with a friend for more than 3 days. I shouldnt be having issues securing a home for my family, due to an eviction I had no contractual financial obligation to. Im asking **** Property Management to reverse the unjust actions, and provide a letter of error urgently.

            They refused to warn me about the presence of cancer causing aspestos in the apartment and now they refuse to answer any questions about the aspestos. They also lie about the receipt of my email regarding the aspestos.

            Jeff, we are sorry you are stressed about this matter. We do not feel we lied about emails. Joann kept us informed of your emails and Lisa did speak with the City in regards to your concern. Please note, sometimes it may take us a day to respond since we are a very busy property management and real estate office. The type of ceiling material used, referred to as "popcorn ceiling" was very popular and used widespread from 1945 until 1990. The material was banned in the 70's but continued to be used without asbestos until the 90's. Asbestos doesn’t pose any serious health risks if it’s left completely intact and undisturbed. If you are still uncomfortable with living within the unit, please feel free to turn in your 30 day notice and we will do our very best to find you a suitable home.
