      My car would not start a few times so I ****** it into Tracy Honda. They told me that I needed a new starter. I paid **** for them to order the starter. My car is a 2016 Honda Pilot. I couldn't believe this fairly new car needed a starter. I took it to another mechanic and he advised that the car doesn't need a starter. He asked if they tested the battery. Well, I didn't know. I called and they said they did not test the battery. I cancelled ordering the starter. I drove around for about a month and the car wouldn't start again. I brought the car to a different place and the first thing they tested was the battery. Bad Battery popped up on the machines screen. I changed the battery in the car and had no issues since. Tracy Honda and the manager ****** were not helpful at all. I am glad I didn't waste ****, but what's even more ridiculous is the fact they didn't test the battery. So I wasted money on a diagnostic what a rip off!

      Hi ***** I apologize for the experience you had with our service department. It is possiible that we misdiagnosed your bad battery as a bad starter and if that is the case there is no excuse.       My partner and I drove out from ******* after discussing the purchase of a vehicle over text earlier that day. When we asked the price over text, we were led to believe it would be sold at MSRP. When we asked about markups, we were told there were none.When we arrived, we found that the salesperson we had been speaking with was not there (a clear red flag) and the vehicle was indeed marked up around 30% (!!!) from MSRP. After pressing the sales manager about our text conversation, we were instructed to wait while they "investigated" and (unsurprisingly) determined that their salesman had made no such claim and reiterated that "we haven't sold a car at MSRP in over 6 months."Don't let them waste your time. Shop elsewhere.

      My dad came in to pay cash for a car and they asked him for information they stated for dmv use. Took my info because I was going to be on the registration. Then without informing us ran hard credit checks on both of us. I wasnt even paying anything at all and now there is a **** on my credit for no reason. Shady people who try to add in a 699 dollar charge for anti theft. And dmv registration charges for a car that had just been registered.
