                                                      BBB and SCORE announce learning partnership

BBB and SCORE-Richmond have partnered to provide learning opportunities to small business owners which could help them improve their bottom line. This partnership will provide in class training and mentoring to enhance the central Virginia small business community.

"We are thrilled about this opportunity to partner with SCORE and provide our Accredited Businesses and other small business owners training and mentoring to be successful and ethical in the marketplace” said Tom Gallagher, BBB's President and CEO. "We take pride in our Accredited Businesses and look forward to this opportunity to serve and improve our small business community. Our Region offers a panoply of opportunities and this marries seasoned SCORE-Richmond trainers and mentors with our businesses many of which are new, small, and ready to grow”.

John Anderson SCORE-Richmond Chapter Chairman said “Small businesses are the backbone of our economic system.” After the success of the first session held on March 10th BBB and SCORE-Richmond are excited to see the partnership grow.

The BBB has been a community resource for over 50 years in the Richmond area creating an unbiased marketplace for businesses and the consumer.

SCORE’s “Business Toolbox” program is geared for those already in business but need to sharpen their business acumen to stay financially viable.
