I have had a great experience with Truetimber -- **** came out this March to look at a dead pine tree in my front yard and looked at other trees in the back on his first visit last year, and he identified several different species of trees and gave a little bit of information about each. I was impressed with his knowledge and with his experience, and that led me to go with Truetimber for my needs. Truetimber then set up an appointment to take care of the dead tree, then contacted me a little later when a time slot opened up sooner than expected. Once the team came, they marked the work zone with cones, took down the tree in about two hours or so with a lift and ropes, and took away the material. They were quite friendly and polite, and they did a great job.I was happy with the work Truetimber did, and I plan to come back to them for more work in the next year or so.Review from Jo F

I have had True Timber Arborists out last year and just last month to assess the health of my trees and to prune dead limbs. They love to climb trees. That fact alone shows their dedication to the job they love. No oversized ladders - these folks use ropes for climbing and descending. They are careful not to harm the healthy parts of trees and if there is any question about whether to cut or not to cut, they will be cautious and decide to wait one more year to see if a tree will recover on its own. Often the trees do and it is a cause for celebration. This year I learned that one of my redbud trees was half-dead. They cut off the offending portion of the tree and it improved the shape of the tree and opened the rest of the tree to more sunshine. I have learned a lot about trees from them and rely on them for the best advice. Pruning all trees on a property can be rather expensive, but it is worth it in order to have healthy trees that attract wild birds and small animals.
