Visited first time since the grand remodel in the pool area and landscaping of which was very impressive. So 5 stars for that, but then it goes downhill. Got to lobby at 7pm, sign says wait outside until you are called in. There was a person inside at the counter getting checked in and a couple in line in front of us waiting. There is a young person maybe teens and an older woman, could be related at the counter. Seemed the young person is the only one checking people in. Waited 10 minutes until the couple in front of us were allowed inside. Then waited another 10 minutes until we could go inside to check in. Took just a few minutes to sign a guest list and pay. By that time, there were at least 10 other people waiting in line to get in. Negative 1 star for lousy customer service.Locker room was clean, so were the showers. Plus 1 Star. We tried the small outside pools. Like bath water, not hot enough for me. There was only one smaller pool that was at least like a hot springs, the temp was ***** degrees, good but not great. Another Negative Star.So after having to wait almost 20 minutes to get in, then get changed, take a shower, we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes because at 8:45 they came around an told us the pool area is closed.Now here's where it gets interesting. According to a reliable source, the small outdoor pools which were built in 2020, are required to add chlorine by the city code and are filled with city water. The only outdoor pool that is strictly water from the hot springs is the large outdoor pool. When you search around the website, it says "********************** - No chemical or city water is added. The outdoor SWIMMING pool temperature is maintained at ***** in the summer and ****** in the winter." Nothing is mentioned about the small outdoor pools. If the small outdoor pools are NOT hot springs water without added chemicals, this is false advertising. If this is true, which I am still trying to find out, I would have given only 1 star.
