I worked through **** ******* in-home services to have a new hot water heater installed and these were the recommended "experts". In my experience, they were anything but that.

After scheduling an appointment with a technician, I was advised that a tankless hot water heater would be best for my situation, and I purchased one through **********. The day before the appointment, I was called to reschedule the install as the technician had a family emergency. Life happens and I wasn't concerned and another appointment was made.

Two "experts" showed up for the 2nd appointment. After inspecting the area for the install, only then do they realize that this was a tankless hot water heater install, not a tank. These two technicians had zero experience with tankless installs. How they didn't know about this ahead of time is beyond me. At this point I was beginning to get irritated, having taken an time off work to accommodate for the appointment.

After speaking with the office, they apologized for their mix up and made a 3rd appointment - this time with the original technician to perform the install. I made a couple of attempts to contact the technician in the lead up to the install to ask questions but was never responded to. I also called the office a couple of times to confirm the appointment, as this was now the 2nd full day of work that I had to take off for this install, and the third scheduled appointment.

On the day of the 3rd appointment, I called the office at around 9am to make sure everything was in order. I was assured the tech had clocked in but was in a meeting, but was heading out soon and would be arriving by 1PM. That seemed to be cutting it close for what was said to be a full day install, but no problem. He's on his way.

Somewhat unsurprisingly by this point, 1PM came and went. At 230PM, I was called and informed that the technician was had suddenly become ill and couldn't make the appointment. Incredible...

After speaking to a manager, I was told that after they reviewed pictures that the technicians took at my home (3 weeks before). Apparently, I now needed a new gas line run and they - conveniently -- don't provide that service. 3 appointments and 2 no-shows later, I'm back at square one with a old leaky hot water heater.

Your experience may vary, but if you're in *********************** and need a tankless water heater installed- be warned. If you like taking time off of work for no reason and being forced to spend unreasonable amounts of time on the phone to make absolutely no progress, ************** -- a division of Progressive Service Company - might be a good choice for you. Otherwise, you're likely to waste a lot of your valuable time and money and should look for a different company from the begining.
