On January 12th, 2023, this business was paid in person, by check, a total amount for a home inspection, part of which was $295 for a water sample test. During the inspection, which I personally attended, I asked about the water sample. The inspector told me that he doesn’t do it, and someone will come that same day. Over a week and a half later I asked about the water test results and I was told they “miscommunicated”, and it was never done. They said it would be done the following Monday, and results would be in Thursday. It is now Friday, and all I’ve been given was a ***** screenshot of a drop-off at ****** ******* that has not moved at all from the initial location. The business has not tried to fix this, or compensate for this. The purpose of the water test, was that it’s a 60 year old house, and my wife is 4 months pregnant, and the plumbing/drinking water quality was of utmost importance. We are now less than 2 weeks til closing and have no clue about the water because of Steve Smallman’s inability to provide us with something we paid for, and were promised.
