I spoke with ultra 1 motors over email regarding credit options they had. Found a vehicle I was interested in. I also have a vehicle that I was looking to trade. After speaking with an employee tajj hall over email, he told me they would only do a soft credit pull to see what would be needed as down payment and then contact me to talk about my trade and figure out what we would have to do to buy the vehicle I was interested in. Instead of contacting me after doing a soft credit pull, they took it upon themselves to send my information to one main financial. I never authorized them to send any of my info to anyone. They did so without my permission. I was never contacted to talk about my trade; we never sent up a time for me to go in and have my trade evaluated; they made up a number and sent in my info to be financed without having my trade evaluated and figuring out what amount would even be needed. So now I have to carry a hard inquiry on my personal credit for 3 years which knocks down your score. I did not ask for this, this was all done without my PERMISSION. I knew I would need money down due to my credit falling from my divorce. They then contacted me saying the bank wanted $10,000 down plus my truck. Kinda absurd don’t you think? Regardless, I never asked them to speak to bank or send my credit to /“any lender.
