    I bought a 2008 Honda Pilot at Honda North in October of 2020 . They inspected in September 2020 before they sold it to me. On May 25, 2021 I had my back brakes and rotors changed. The mechanic at shop told me left rear body mount was broke due to rust and he did not believe vehicle would past next inspection due in September 2021. I took my car to a welder and had to have left rear mount rebuilt and also had to have Rear Bar replaced because it was so rusty it would not have passed inspection. I do not believe Honda North should have inspected this vehicle in September of 2020 before they sold it to me due to the amount of rust. I took it there and talked to them about it before I had it fixed and they told me "that amount of rust was completely normal and I must have hit a bump or something to make rear body mount brake. " They did nothing. to help me. Also since buying this vehicle less than a year ago have replaced the thermostat, starter, battery, alternator, part of muffler.

    Horrible customer service experience! Two reasons * trade in and bought used car experience We traded in our other car * sales team wouldnt budge on trade in price stating the dash was unreadable in direct sunlight and there was a small rock crack in windshield. ?? We did our homework and knew the car was worth more but they wouldnt compromise. Should have left right there. Big regret! Left feeling uneasy about the whole deal.We ended up buying a used car only to have break down the next day. Took it to two different dealerships because it broke down twice. Eventually, had to replace fuel pump. Drove fine at the dealership. Several things shouldve tipped us off. The service team didnt bother to give a new oil change sticker and they couldnt be troubled to fill up the gas tank for a new customer. Really feel like the service team wasnt very through with their care of the car. Probably overlooked some issues. Called the dealership and they were less than willing to help out. Would only cover the diagnostic fee from one dealership. Salesman was crass and rude on the phone with me. Especially when I brought up the fact that they had now listed our trade in car for double what we traded it for. Talk about taking advantage of customers. I guess our dash and windshield were fine after all. The sales team knew they had us and took full advantage of it. They definitely couldve helped us out more or given us more for the trade. Lesson * if it feels shady it probably is. Be on your guard if you choose to deal with this place.
