Be cautious paying up front for sessions. The price is high and the sessions are generic. People were there for a variety of reasons to get help. The sessions are supposed to be "tailored" to your needs. There was nothing special--in and out of the room--popped in a CD with a headset after 20 minutes of talking with us. We drove 1.5 hours to go there--decided it was too far after 1 session. It took a month to get a refund with many phone calls, emails and certified letters. When the refund was not coming, I resorted to the credit card company to reverse the charge.

*** is a scammer. He is not certified. He has you listen to a tape. Nothing is personalized.

I greatly appreciate all of the treatment Dr. *** has provided to me for over 15 years treating anxiety in various areas of my life, as well as, depression. I've been able to overcome some substantial barriers leading to a happier and healthier personal life, in addition to, a flourishing professional life. He practices a holistic approach beyond the treatment room by encouraging a healthy lifestyle; replacing bad habits with healthy choices. I will continue to utilize his outstanding services when needed, as well as, proudly refer his services!

Just a ripoff. You listen to generic CDs and rarely see the "therapist." It didn't work at all and then he won't refund your money because he claims he customized your sessions. (Even though they are prerecorded.)

Treatment for smoking cessation consisted only of prerecorded tapes. Maybe you could call this relaxation, but not hypnosis. This was a total waste of money.

This is a great place and great people work here. I was very skeptical about hypnosis but it does work, at least for me. The sessions are prerecorded and take time to work and it's a lifestyle change that he helps with. I'm doing the weight loss program and after several sessions, I was starting to lose hope, then all of a sudden I could hear *** in my head saying eat when your hungry and stop when you're full. Thanks, *** for all your help.

After 35 years of smoking , I am happy to say with Dans Program, my Wife and me have been smoke free for 90 days . *** was very Professional and Attentive to our needs , and *** gave us the feeling he really cares . I will recommend to everyone !! I will be signing up for Dans weight loss sessions soon !

Total scam. Paid $1400 for my daughter for treatment for disordered eating (issues with food textures, food aversions, emotional eating). He said he'd personalize her treatment. Instead he put her in a reclining chair with headphones and a prerecorded weight loss CD. Told her to eat Atkins bars and drink protein shakes. I didn't want her on a diet. I wanted to heal her relationship with food. When we asked for a refund, he insisted her program was personalized and no refunds would be issued. I KNOW it wasn't personalized because (1) he gave her the first session the day he met her -- so when did he make that recording personalized (2) he gave her generic "weight loss" CDs to listen to between sessions (3) he never talked to her before or after sessions to get feedback on her progress (of which there was none, obviously). I argued successfully for a refund most likely because I threatened legal action. He represents himself as a licensed board certified hypnotherapist. There was no therapy going on. He wasn't even in the room. There's no licensing for hypnosis in PA. And I couldn't find any board he belongs to. He says he's a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists. He is not and hasn't been since 2012 and they've received numerous complaints about him as well. I have emails to verify if anyone wants to see. Some of the positive reviews for his business were written by people affiliated with him, like "***** *." (He had an associate named ********* ******. Look it up on LinkedIn. She's in sales. Basically so is *** ******** because he sells you something, but it's fraudulent. I'm frustrated that I put my daughter through the ordeal of driving 50 minutes each way for these "treatments" and they caused her to lose hope in the process of hypnosis. Shame on you, ***. Please don't fall for this like I did.

I was a smoker for 25 years. I have a high stress job and I think I tried everything possible to quit smoking for my kids. Nicotine patch, gum, Chantix. In my heart I wanted to quit smoking but the anxiety, tension and cravings would overwhelm me even though I knew it was harmful. I was letting my kids down. I talked to a friend at work about my struggles of quitting smoking and she said that she went to PA hypnosis and hasnt smoked in years. I figured Id tried everything else so I went in, set up a consultation with *** 11 months ago. I quit smoking and I have no cravings. Next month on the 15th will be my one year anniversary. Since that time I sent two of my friends to PA hypnosis to quit smoking. To date they are non-smokers. I hope this information is helpful to anybody who is researching methods to quit smoking.
