I spoke with a sales representative who was extremely helpful and informational. I let him know my time frame and projected date for available funds (getting quotes and saving up) and he never rushed me or made me feel like I was missing out.I will definitely be back in the future to do business.

I contacted Olympia Steel Building and talked to ********* March 26, 2021, I purchased a Olympia Steel Building by signing contract and paying a $8,700 deposit, a stamped hard copy contract was sent, signed on March 26th. I was emailed by *****, saying my final payment due to the delivery truck driver would be $29,786.54. Everything was great until, ***** contacted me in May saying I needed to pick a delivery date. (I was away for a family emergency) So I contacted them on my return. When I emailed back to get delivery date. I in turn got an email from **** saying to call him asap. So I called that day, **** stated that since I did not call back in 24 hours to confirm my delivery date (nowhere did anything say I had to call back in 24 hours) that I now $19,000 because prices went up in the past week. I said I can't pay 19k!! So he said well since ***** never said anywhere that I had to call back in 24 hours I would be charged another $8,800. I said I can't pay $8,800! He then said well you will pay this, or you will lose your deposit that you put down on the building back in March ($8,700.00) So I ended up paying the 8,700 as I couldn't afford to lose deposit and then go elsewhere and be out another deposit down! After paying this, **** also scheduled my delivery, for Sept 14 – September 28, 2021, and will call to confirm exact date during our 2 week window. I signed accepted delivery for Sept 14-28. Fast forward to September 14-28 nothing. No one called, no one emailed it was like they fell off the face of the earth. We set up construction for end of Oct. I emailed again **** as he told me to deal directly with him since ***** didnt follow protocol and say anything about me having to confirm delivery date. He said so we have no more problems you contact me. So I did, and what did I get in return? "I had asked my factory to contact you with an update because I try not to get too many hands in the cookie jar when they have an official delivery date." I then get a message from *****, who sets up exact dates. This is ***** from the shipping department. We have a delivery date of your steel building. Nov 3rd if you do not accept delivery date, storage could range from $2,000.00 or more?!?!?! November 3rd?!? So you were going to charge me 19k and ended up charging me $8,800 for not calling you back within 24 hours (which like I said above was never even told that) but my delivery date was Sept 14-28 and you think its okay to out of the blue email me back saying Nov 3rd delivery and now if I dont drop everything and accept it I will be charged again??? Mind you I had a crew to unload the truck in Sept. (Husband is a truck driver and was home in Sept for delivery as you have to unload with forklift). Not only do I now have to drop everything to revolve around there date of delivery, but if I dont I will be charged a storage fee of $2,000-5,000. After everyone in the building confirmed our delivery would be here the 3rd, the truck driver calls me today and says I won't be there until Nov 4th. I confirm i have a check for him in amount of 29, 786.54. He corrected the amount saying no it is 30,628.55. So I contact *********, she asks **** and said I am told ohh Steel prices went up so now you don't owe 29,786.54 but now I am told I owe 30,628.55?!?! I confirmed my price with **** back when he took 8,800.00. I even said, okay so this is the final cost right? No more add on, no more surprise costs? This is the total? **** said Yes! I said okay I am going to go get my cashiers check from the bank this month so I have it all ready for delivery. I contacted ****, he never replied to my email, still hasn't replied to me. So I contacted ********* who sold me the building and she contacted him and said he said ya thats what you owe now? Why?!?! Why??? All in all, I dont understand how I go from paying 39k to paying 50k?!? This is not right! We have a meat market that has been in business since 1933 and I have NEVER EVER EVER heard of anything like this! It would be like someone buying a side of beef from us, us saying its going to cost you 1,500.00 and you put a payment on it of 500.00 then come to pick it up a couple weeks later and they say ohh well beef prices went up so now youre going to pay another 1,500.00!! They are ripping people off! Do not go with Olympia Steel Buildings. Find another company, please! I sit here tonight and read all of these other BBB complaints and think to myself why did i not see these before I went with this company?!?! I see so many that are similar to mine. Ripping people off, as they know people won't back out since they already have that 30% deposit!

I contacted Olympia to inquire about a steel building for our farm. What I got was a very high-pressure attempt to get me to sign a contact immediately, their stating that they had a building in inventory that was no longer needed by the original customer, but that I had to act fast. They asked me for $10,000 up front along with the contract. I quickly decided that this whole affair seemed dubious, so I ignored the "offer." They kept calling and texting for several days before finally giving up.
