Better Business Bureau serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB) welcomes Debi Pennington as new Regional Director for its Mohave County office in Lake Havasu City, succeeding Elaine Cullen who retired in September 2017. Pennington will continue to serve Mohave and La Paz Counties, building on three years of community involvement since the opening of the office in 2014.
Pennington joins BBB as key liaison to Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, Parker and surrounding communities. In a continued effort to help locals select brands and charities they can trust, Pennington plans to collaborate and join forces with other organizations, serving both consumers and businesses.
“We are grateful for the trust and support local organizations, nonprofits, businesses and consumers have offered since our opening in 2014, and look forward to continuing and expanding partnerships to better serve the community,” said Matthew Fehling, BBB President/CEO.
Prior to joining BBB, Pennington worked as Educational Director for Interagency Council of Social Services, where she led over seven educational programs, collaborated with local leaders to optimize outreach, worked with organizations to establish services, and evaluated the impact of community programs. Pennington holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Arizona State University.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Pennington and her two daughters relocated to Lake Havasu City eight years ago. In her free time, she volunteers for a variety of local events and currently serves as an ambassador for the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce.
“I hope to continue building awareness of BBB programs that help promote trust and consumer confidence in our area,” said Debi Pennington, BBB Regional Director for Mohave County. “Elaine Cullen did an amazing job and has left a great framework for me to follow.”
