For the last 20+ years, Matthew M. Fehling has dedicated his career to ensuring BBB remains a relevant and trusted source. Prior to joining the Greater Arizona BBB in 2004 as Executive Vice President and being appointed to President/CEO in 2006, Matthew served in several roles across the country including with the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB). Leading the largest BBB in the country, his voice is heard on a national level while serving on the CBBB Board of Directors. Matthew is a board member for Coyotes Charities and is past president of the Valley of the Sun Kiwanis Club. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Mass Communications.
V.P. of Communications
Felicia N. Thompson is Vice President of Communications for Better Business Bureau serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB). She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from The University of Arizona in Tucson and also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Since joining BBB in 2004, Felicia has served as spokesperson for local and national media as well has led BBB in critical communication and brand strategies. Her team is responsible for all of BBB’s external communications in Greater Arizona. Felicia is a board member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in Phoenix and is a member of Vistage International.
Director of Community Relations
Myriam Cruz is the Director of Community Relations for Better Business Bureau Serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB). In her role, Myriam oversees community engagement and outreach efforts for BBB’s offices in Phoenix, Prescott, Yuma and Lake Havasu City. She also serves as the Spanish spokesperson for the organization and leads Hispanic initiatives, as well as marketing efforts.
Prior to joining BBB, Myriam built international relations with post-secondary institutions to expedite document processing, and developed marketing strategies for a Hispanic advertising agency. Myriam holds a Bachelor’s in marketing and advertising from Northern Arizona University and a certificate in nonprofit management from Arizona State University.
Myriam enjoys volunteering, reading and spending time with her family and bulldog Frida. She is part of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc., an organization that promotes higher education among women of color, and serves on local boards.
Regional Director, Mohave County Campus
Elaine Cullen is the Regional Director for the Mohave County Campus of Better Business Bureau Serving Central, Northern & Western Arizona (BBB). Prior to joining BBB, Elaine was the Director of Event Marketing for the Lake Havasu City Convention & Visitors Bureau for three years and also provided economic development services to local governments. Elaine and her husband, Tim, relocated to Lake Havasu City from Southern California in January 2008.
As the Regional Director, Elaine coordinates and provides local educational presentations on marketplace issues to both consumers and businesses, and continues to build strong media, educational and service relationships throughout Mohave County.
Regional Director, Yuma County Campus
Janet Torricellas is the Regional Director for the Yuma County Campus of Better Business Bureau Serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB). For more than six years, she held various positions at the Phoenix office before spearheading BBB's Yuma outreach.
As Regional Director, Janet provides educational programs on marketplace issues to local consumers and businesses. She also works closely with media to build awareness of important topics affecting the Yuma community. Additionally, Janet serves as the Yuma County Spanish spokesperson for BBB.
Regional Director, Yavapai County Campus
Marilyn Huffman is the Regional Director for the Yavapai County Campus of Better Business Bureau serving Central, Northern, and Western Arizona (BBB). In her role, Marilyn serves as the face of BBB and key liaison to the Northern Arizona communities in Apache, Coconino, Navajo, and Yavapai counties. She provides valuable resources to the community through educational presentations, strategic partnerships, and local initiatives.
Prior to this new position, Marilyn was part of the business relations team at BBB, sharing the benefits of accreditation. Before taking on that role, she helped consumers and businesses address ethical issues as a dispute resolution consultant.
A Phoenix native, Marilyn currently resides in Prescott. In her spare time she enjoys singing with her band, hiking, and travelling.
