Patriots Automotive and transmission they do top-notch work very polite I would recommend them to anyone and you cant beat their oil change $20

If anyone recomends this place to you, please run the other way. This is the first bad review I have ever written, as is not my way of doing business, and I am in my 60's. We had our vehicle sent to this place by our mechanic to have the transmission rebuilt. We should have recognized the first warning sign when we called to check on the status after 10 days and was told their ****** guy had quit. We recieved a call nearly 3 weeks from day of drop off to inform us it is ready to pick up. The transmission quit within 20 miles, and Patriot owner would not pay to have the vehicle brought back to rectify their mistake. When i spoke to the owner, he made it clear that if their work fails, you are responsible for the cost to have it returned. While speaking to the owner, he tried to talk to me like I had no mechanical knowledge, until I called him out on the excuse he was trying to give. I was originally told that the Transmission was rebuilt, and paid exactly what was charged. When I asked what the recent problem was, I was told it was a wire harness inside the transmission. This leaves questions everyone should consider before taking anything here, was the transmission really rebuilt when originally taken there? If they did rebuild it, why was it not noticed that the harness was bad when they said they took the transmission apart? Did they really do what they charged me for? Why do they not take responsibility for their mistakes? This place tries to advertise that they take care of veterans, and did not care that the person they were taking advantage of was a veteran, even when brought to the owners attention. This was a bad experience for anyone to have to deal with and would not recomend this place. Run away fast and tell your friends.
