I moved out of a residential property that was managed by Western Vistas. On final walk thru, I surrendered two sets of keys for the home. Western Vistas attempted to charge me for rekeying the locks. My first complaint is that Western Vistas does this to all tenants in hopes that they will not either notice the charges or dispute them. I believe this is the standard operating procedure for this property management company. I have attached the charge sheet. I disputed the charges with Western Vistas and after repeated attempts to contact them for resolution, the charges were removed for rekeying locks. Secondly, Western Vistas claimed that they did not have my initial walk thru inspection. I was able to provide it to them and all charges were removed except move out house keeping. Western Vistas has pictures of the property upon move out. The home was completely cleaned, all trash removed. I want to ensure that this is not happening to anyone else. I also want the complete return of my security deposit, the remaining $262.50. I can provide email correspondence with Western Vistas following my move out.
