I was referred to Champs from my in-laws. Several of have taken our vehicles in. A year ago 4/21 I took my Acadia to get the ac looked at because it was blowing hot. $130 for recharge and service *** 6/21 I took it in again with ac blowing hot. $2306.29 with extensive work. Now its 7/22 and we are back to were we started. Ac still not working 100% it was kinda better for a bit. All the work they did for $2000 had to be redone under warranty. They still didnt have it fixed. Between the two locations I have taken my truck in at least 10 times for the *** When I told the owner he said it was 11 and laughed. I had to rent a car and rearrange my life to be without a vehicle. After all the tests, replacing parts and then replacing parts again, they found there was a small leak in an area hard to see. In order to see it they had to put more than recommended dye for the dye test. FINALLY!! We found the issue for the ac not working. Now he wants to charge me again. Said they never worked on this particular part and is going to charge me. Refused to listen to me and told me to have my family, that recommended him, and my husband call him. Over $2000, a year, and more than 10 trips to the shop and my ac still doesnt work.
