Ill first say that I wish I had consulted the Better Business Bureau instead of ****** reviews before spending over 20k on two new units with this company. The sales call took one visit. The install and 6 subsequent visits to get the units working properly took 3 months. One of those visits, they never called or even showed up to the house. I called their office and they acknowledged they saw us on the calendar before, but that we were no longer on the calendar. It was rescheduled. Every single one of their visits to our house was approximately 20 minutes to 40 minutes after the 3 hour window. The last visit I had to call the office when they were late and was told they had car trouble. By this point in our journey, that was sadly a completely expected response. After the units were installed, they would only blow cold with no heat working. My gut tells me they knew this after installing the units because they spent an extra two hours scratching their heads trying to figure something out. And I should mention they installed one unit in our basement without a filter. Imagine spending 10k on a car to hear that the $5 filter is your responsibility. I was very confused by this. I called and asked for a filter. They installed a filter that was an inch too small all the way around. I knew this is bad news! I called back to explain the filter was too small only to be told that particular unit needed a special ordered filter. So order it then! I consulted the documentation they left us, then I went to Amazon and had a package of properly sized ***************** to my house. Such a simple and inexpensive thing that they made my responsibility to figure out. At one point an additional quote to get everything working as it was supposed to was promised next day. I called 3 weeks later to inquire why it had not been sent. They couldnt answer why it was not sent. They finally came out and completed the work which should have been accounted for in the original quote.Lincoln Air & Plumbing Response

I went with Lincoln Air for two reasons, they had great reviews, and they are a ********** diamond dealer. My experience with them has been unlike what others have posted. It's been absolutely terrible. As it would take more words than you are allowed to write to describe the several month long never ending episode of problems I have had with Lincoln Air I will simply bullet point the main issues.Scheduling was terrible. Wrong Days scheduled multiple times, and I mean, like six or seven times - (causing me to scramble my work schedule to accommodate them over and over)Not consulter about where one of the head units would be installed, leaving me with very ugly PVC pipe running across my front patio or have it pool water against the house on the patio. Super. The vent solution to cool our secondary bath was never done because the installation crew said it was too hard. They did leave some nice holes in my bathroom wall and ceiling though. The installers did not know how to hook up the kumu cloud device and left it with a blinking LED directly above my head in the bedroom. When I asked them to fix it they explained they didn't know how and tried to get me to facetime with their crew leader who was on vacation in another country. I tried, but he didn't actually know either. Eventually I just unplugged the thing and waited the two weeks for the guy to come back from vacation and come out and fix it and some of the other things they didn't complete.I was told they would have to do the install over two days, with a day break in between because they were previously scheduled so I arranged my work schedule around those two days. Unbeknownst to me they changed the schedule to be two consecutive days, which would have been fine if I had known ahead of time, but I didn't - forcing me to scramble to accommodate them. There were also several scheduling problems with the (I assume another subcontractor) electrician that was working with them. Multiple wrong days with them too.The first time I called for service since one of the units literally froze up inside the house (mind you this is only about six weeks after the install) they called back to tell me the tech would be there between 10 and 12, either I misheard them or they got that wrong too because I when I called back at 1 since no tech showed up they said oh sorry, meant that to be tomorrow, but glad you called because we actually switched it to between 8 and 10.The first tech came, he seemed nice and competent but he had told me that he can't actually do the repair because the team that installed it was a subcontractor and they get the first choice to fix it.ANOTHER call to the office and they at least said they would for sure have him fix it, but my goodness, it's never ending miscommunication from them. Later that day the tech told me the crew who installed it were always a problem, and that *** Lincoln, the owner of the company, had yelled at him for telling me that they were sub contractors. He also said he was going to quit after my job because the place was so horrible to work for. Now, I don't know if that's true of course, but *** Lincoln did later confirm to me that this tech no longer worked there. Alas, it didn't matter because that unit broke again two weeks later. Another tech came out, talked bad about the original crew and the previous tech and seems to have fixed that unit.Fast forward a few weeks, another unit starts dripping water into the house. Some new tech comes out and "fixes" - three days later, broken again.ANOTHER tech comes out and this time they do manage to fix it.So, for those keeping score - aside from the install nightmares, we've had FOUR issues so far.And this bring us to this week when issue number five occured. My bedroom unit started dumping water onto the wall, bed, and an electrical outlet. I called the office, voicemail. No return call an hour later (3:00 on a Monday). Texted ***, and to his credit he responded and eventually set up a tech to come out this morning. He arrived, only a few minutes late and without any notice he was on his way (a thing they usually do OK). He surveyed the situation, which I had assumed was a clogged condensation drain and said nope, the unit was dirty and that was the problem and he doesn't do that kind of stuff. It's beneath him you see. He sent "documentation" to the office who wanted to charge me to come out and clean it. I said no, of course. Called another company and the guy said he could come out, but given what I described I should just attach a shop vac to the drain line and turn it on for a minute. So I did. Now, you understand I asked the tech to check that and he refused, couldn't possibly be that. Took me three minutes to fix, thanks to the nice advice from the guys over at ********** Air (yeah, they could have charged me to come out and do it themselves, but it's pretty **** hot here right now and he said he would be shocked if there wasn't some debris in that line, there was...)So, that's my experience with Lincoln Air so far. They have mostly great reviews, so I'm sure they will be fine, but my goodness, my experience has been unlike most of the things I've read about them, so just be careful.Lincoln Air & Plumbing Response

We do humbly apologize for any miscommunication, or mishaps during your install. We understand your frustration and if this were to happen to us, we would feel the same . We immediately called to rectify. All repairs were made as well as any other needs that came up. The bedroom unit was dumping water for the unit was being ran during your remodel and is now clogged with Drywall dust. A technician arrived onsite that following morning. It's not beneath anyone here at Lincoln to do the deep cleaning, It's something that need's specialty tools and that Technician didn't have them w/ him at that time. Using a shop vac is a temporary solution, The units need to be thoroughly cleaned to avoid long term effects to the unit and efficiency. As we discussed you will get a refund for the fan that wasn't able to be installed. As a side note since there is no attic access, You were aware and agreed to any exploratory holes we had to make to see if we were able to complete the install.Review from Bobby D

I want to tell you everything I think. This all began when we knew we had a short time to before we'd be forced to get an new A/C. We didn't want to wait until we "had" to so we did our homework. We are a family of 4, **** sqft home, built in ****. We reached out to 4 different companies, Lincoln Air was one of them. Honestly, ****** the Rep with Lincoln Air, was by far the most genuine, honest and knowledgeable ******** others were salezee, pushy, even providing information that even I knew was less then accurate. We decided to go with Lincoln Air. In fact, we did a little extra investigation into the ********** Ductless system and we were happily surprised that Lincoln Air was **********'s top choice for installing their units. It cost us a lot more BUT the electrical **** was shockingly low from the first month after the A/C was installed. In fact its remained low, low enough that APS came out and changed our meter because they saw such a dramatic drop in utility cost. Our HVAC is the best we've ever had. Each room can be controlled individually and it nearly silent when it runs. The outside units are, for the most part, totally silent. We have two units outside right next to our view deck and you don't know if they're on or not, they are THAT quiet.I highly recommend Lincoln Air. ***** is the best Sales Rep ever. The owner of Lincoln Air is someone we're happy to support. He came out during the installation so it was nice to meet him. The installation was clean, pretty fast - not a lot of down time at all. I truly believe Lincoln Air can not be beat. In this town, HVAC is as important as your roof!Lincoln Air & Plumbing Response

I thought I'd found a gem of a company but instead endured a negative experience. I committed to Lincoln Air for a fair priced, split mini a/c unit on May 19, 2021. They took my 50% deposit and scheduled the install for June 4th. I received a call June 3rd that they had multiple a/c emergencies & were going to reschedule for June 15th.The install crew explained they were not informed of the June 15th install until they thought they were finished for the day and then, learned of my job THAT DAY (they arrived at 3pm). I later learned from them that the parts delivery person had a family emergency & no one would drive the parts to my home for the June 4th install date. (So, I was lied to? Nice.)On June 15th the install crew arrived but, no electrician. No one can reach him. I have a fully installed unit now but it's useless as there is no power. The installers offered that this scheduling mismanagement happens frequently. Upon completion I discovered someone left me with the remains of a gastrointestinal explosion in my toilet (SO. GROSS.). They also left empty water & ******** bottles in the street in front of my home; as well as small bits of trash from the install. On June 15th I told my sales person "J" I wanted the unit charged & inspected and to educate me on unit operation, the same day the electrician was complete. The installer agreed.I called and reiterated the same to their admin person "K" on June 16th at 9:00am.On June 16th the electrician arrived, telling me he only heard of my job one day prior to the June 15th install. He said he's always booked out 2 weeks so my job was a favor to Lincoln Air. When the electrician was complete he called the installer and on speaker, the installer said the office had not instructed him to return as I had requested. (My BP is through the roof, again)The sales & admin folks have responded through all of this with an eerily detached, lackadaisical attitude. On June 15th "J" began to offer an annual inspection free of charge as compensation for my trouble (he had told me in May that value was $178- which included the split a/c and my main a/c). I told him we were not going to discuss 'compensation' until the job was complete. I have now invested 3 solid days for a 2-hour job. Finally, on June 16th at 4:00pm a serviceman "T" arrived to inspect the unit (he released freon as it was overcharged). "T" also explained a few features on the remote. The unit works great! To date, "T" has been the most polite professional of any of them.At 8:00am June 17th "K" left a message wanting to collect payment and get this, to hear of any feedback. I returned email reiterating my displeasure of this experience and inquired as to what value they thought my lost time & stress was worth, before I paid their invoice. Apparently there wasn't any value as she returned email that she has a "happy & professional personality" and they have "done everything right". There was not a word nor care relating to MY experience. Wowsers!****, if you don't mind being **** around & have ample time to waste, then by all means - hire them. If there is a response (to this) at all, I presume it will be full of spin. Companies that do not take ownership of their mistakes & express empathy to a customer for them, is one I will run from all day long. WHATEVER. I'm done.In my opinion, Lincoln Air clearly needs to learn sub-contractor communication and scheduling management. Perhaps a class or two on customer service may prove fruitful as well. For me, this has been a disastrous experience & I will never use nor refer them. And the best part: the owner *** emailed requesting my online review & specified on ******, **** & the BBB. Well, as requested, here's your review Mr. Lincoln; good luck to you.Lincoln Air & Plumbing Response

*****, I'm grateful for your feedback. As much as it pains me to hear this, I assure you that this is not normal practices for Lincoln Air. We are a small business with kinks to ironing out. There definitely was a scheduling conflict with the electrician, by getting our install days mixed up. Once we realized this, we worked without electrician to expedite the work that needed to be done and had your mini split up and running with in 24 hours. We took a better look at our process and have made changes within the company to alleviate this from happening again. Like I said in the follow up email. I want to hear all feedback for the experience you had with Lincoln Air. This makes us better as people and as a company. Thank you for choosing us to install a mini split in your master bedroom to help make your room more comfortable. My hope is that we have made things right with you. If we haven't please let me know. Thank you again Bob-Review from Larry B

Lincoln Air installed a mini-split in our insulated 2-car garage. Establishing a 220 line to the garage was needed for the installation. There was an initial issue with the system not being fully charged with coolant from the factory, but Lincoln Air took care of the issue timely. The unit works great, quickly cooling the garage to the high 70s and below even when outside temperatures are over 100. This was our first experience with Lincoln Air and highly recommend Lincoln Air for this type of HVAC installation. Based on our experience, we will absolutely consider them for any future HVAC needs.
