            This company came highly recommended to us from an insurance adjuster. They came just after Christmas to replace our roof, which I believe was done in a timely manner. When the spring came and the snow melted, we had to pick up a fair bit of debris left by the workers (plastic strips from back of shingles, and tons of roofing nails all over our side and back yards near the house. It wasn't until the weather was good enough for us to sit in our back yard that we were able to see a section of the roof had not been completed. It's very obvious where the old shingles remain, compared to our neighbour's and our new shingles. We have called them several times since over the past 2 years to get them to come and finish the job. We've been told "someone will come over". One guy came and couldn't see the problem. I had to take a picture and circle the incomplete area for him to see it. This spring I requested to speak with the owner. I received no response, and no one has come.

            The contractor, DM Roofing re-roofed our house along with replacing the edge of the roof deck in Nov.'20.I checked the attic this year using an extension ladder to gain access (usually use shorter step stool). I was able to see more of the attic area and found that the rafter vents were not re-positioned as they were found and the bathroom fan vent duct was disconnected from the fan itself and not re-positioned to discharge onto the soffit as before (left in a heap).I have contacted the contractor and since it is so late after work completion, do not expect much of a response. However, I find this failure to complete as required, unacceptable and will not recommend this contractor in the future.*********************

            I am sorry to hear about the customers complaint which the roof installation was over 7 years age. we were not contacted until 4 days ago about the customers concerns. Dm Roofing warranty on workmanship is 5 years which is more than most competitors . Dm Roofing accommodated the customer in all of his concerns which the owner personally took care of. The customer was a difficult one to deal with and had a hard time collecting the money after the roof installation As we recall customer had a major squirrlel prolem at the time. Did the customer resolve his issue with the squirels ? It could be possible that the squirrels may have knocked the hose off. It has been quite awhile now. We at Dm Roofing take pride in customer satisfaction and if this was brought to our attention during the 5 year workmanship warranty, we would have rectified the customers concerns.Thank you
