The note below summarizes the email that I sent to Nutrilawn on May 25th of 2022 in response to unauthorized services performed on my property May 20th of 2022. I believe it sums things up. In short they continue to demand payment despite several emails and phone call. Its harassment. I have an email document trail but can't figure out how to save as an attachement. ------------------------- As we discussed on Friday: - When I arrived home on Friday from a trip to Atlanta, I saw the NUTRI-LAWN sign on my lawn. - I phoned immediately to ask why ANY service we performed on my property as I had not asked for or confirmed any service. - I was informed that I had signed up to a 2 year plan. - To be VERY clear. NO WAY did I do this. I was planning to retire this year and wouldn’t need the service. - I had also given the same story by the manager last year and gave them a lecture over the fact that I would never sign a multiyear deal. - You informed me that I was sent emails (all of which I now see in my Spam folder), including your visit reports. None of which were ever responded to. - I was also informed I had been sent a letter, which I can say I never opened as I get a ton of junk mail. - No one was home (my wife and daughter were also in Toronto) when you came and performed the service without so much as ringing the doorbell (I checked my ring Doorbell App) - Still despite any response or acknowledgement you decided to perform your services at my house. Now you think you will bill me for these services? To be clear I had already fertilized my lawn 2 weeks earlier (I bought a nice new Scotts spreader). In summary, I have no intention of paying money for a service I never asked for, never confirmed, and had already performed myself.

I was surprised today that they showed up and applied fertilizer to my lawn. Why ? 1. I purchased a lawn care service last year. While I was talking to the sales person over the phone and also communicating over email prior to my payment, the sales person never mentioned that this is not only just subscribing service for this year but all the followed years you will still be getting service. 2. I did not receive any notification that there will be fertilizer to be applied on my lawn today. No notice. When I called Nutri-Lawn, my answer from the representative is that in your confirmation email from last year, you should see " multi year subscription". That means I am subscribed to this service annually. Does this make any sense? Did I ask for the same service every year? Did you ever mention that to me before I made the payment last year? It definitely sounds like you are forcing me to subscribe automatically. I already paid for a different lawn care service. Because of this, I had to call them to skip for the service I paid, and then pay 40 bucks for this one visit from Nuti-Lawn that I was not expecting at all. I am not aware that I am subscribed to this years plan at all. All the emails I got from Nutri-Lawn is about subscribe now save xxx. If I was already subscribed why you send me such emails to confuse me? Why don't you send email to notify me about upcoming service like what you did last year? Why don't you email me about my service summary/statement for this year? Lack of these from you, should I still be getting service from you?

Hi *****, We are sorry to see the poor review that you gave us. You spoke with our sales supervisor and the issue was discussed. We are happy to reiterate. You called our office on April 13th upset that we provided service for you, and you thought you didnt ask for it, nor did we pre-notify you, so you thought. Here are the facts: 1.On July 23, 2021, you booked lawn care with ****. At that time, you opted into the Multi-Year subscription services plan. With that, you receive a 5% discount on all subscription services. The services continue from year to year until you contact us to change or cancel. You agreed. 2.On October 26, 2021, an email was sent to you showing the services for 2022 that are scheduled. 3.On November 9, 2021, a letter was mailed to you showing you the services for 2022 that are scheduled. We included a terms and conditions insert as well. 4.On February 27, 2022, another letter was mailed to you showing the services for 2022 that are scheduled. 5.On March 6, 2022, another email was sent to you. 6.On April 3, 2022, an email newsletter went out to you and all active clients telling you what to expect in the month of April with your services. 7.On April 10, 2022, a voice message was sent to you and all active clients advising you that the services were starting. 8.On April 12, 2022, the night before we did your first fertilizer application, a pre-service notification was emailed to you. 9.On April 13, 2022, an after-service email was sent to you advising what services were performed and what our technicians observed on your lawn. When you called on April 13th and spoke with our supervisor, he walked you through all of the steps that we took to make sure you knew exactly what you opted-in for. **** took the time to have you go through your emails to search for our communications. After some time, you found them. In your words, you thought they were spam and chose to ignore them. So, I am sure that once you review the statement of events, you can see that we went over and above normal standards to ensure that we had good communication with you despite the fact that you chose to ignore them. Respectfully, *********************, Owner
