I really like the site and what it offers as far as features and selection of music. It is one one of the only sites that was worth the cost of a membership, but even the free account has a lot of access to content and lets you store a lot of recordings when other sites charge for that. I have used this site since Red Karaoke was a thing and Smule had just been introduced but it was no contest, even though I had paid for others, Singsnap had the most to offer, as you could sing solo, or add a duet to your own song or someone else's, make and recieve comments on video and audio shared on site and on other platforms. Going gold gets even more songs to sing, as well as the ability to store more song recordings, but the best part was the ability to change pitch in the recordings so you could tackle songs that normally might be out of your comfortable range. After another member sponsored my Gold status for a year, there was no turning back after that. It has a passionate community of users, if you want to be social, but I used it as a n invaluable way to practice for my Xfactor audition,and personal vocal exploration and getting over the difficulty of singing in front of people. I like it so much that I bought several membership years at the last big sale and bought some more last week to distribute because that price was too good to pass up. I will probably stay a member for the life of the site.Love it! Long Live Singsnap

I have a good time on SingSnap and the information you need is like any other site, written in the Frequently Asked Questions. The times I have needed customer service I was answered and problem solved within hours. The contests are run by individual members and judged by the members posted when you join. Over time , you notice they do pick their friends but this isn't a Sing Snap problem. The service is there and it works... the people you join the contest with make that experience. It's not all like that.The new system overhaul is not a user friendly as the Legacy version, but is still being enhanced. The culture has seemed to change slightly from one that always commented on songs to just a listening community...that takes some of the fun out. These are are problems within the members and SS can only encourage participation. What you do with it, is up to you.

back in 2006 - 2008 i was a member then when I found out the staff chooses favorites over other good singers to win contests I spoke out about it on my own page on singsnap when the staff found out about this I got banned for life and then after that since , and I do mean since then I have been getting people from singsnap harassing me , telling me I'm no good , to stop singing , and yelling at me that the staff of singsnap suspended you that means you cannot sing so stop singing find another hobby the staff has spoken and nobody goes against the staff and the owner , every time you put up a video or try to sing we will stop you and have the admins of the site you put your videos and mp3 files on we will have the admins take them down , ******* has taken down four of my songs while singsnap members who sing the same songs get to keep theirs every time I try to sing on ******* it gets taken down and singsnap says I took it from their website hm how when I can't even get into the site no more because I got suspended how can I steal a song from them , cruel , harassment , and probably ******* where do they get their songs if I can't sing EAGLES song I can't tell you why , how come they get too hmmm think about that
