              Date of Transaction 25/06/2021 Amount Paid $700 Hired COSMOS RENOVATIONS AND PAINTING for small job to replace a chain link fence/gate with a PVC fence/gate at entrance to back yard (9 Ft. Area). Quality of work poor and experience with contractor was difficult. He stated that the job would take 2 days. By the 3rd day, Friday morning he only had two end posts installed which were installed incorrectly and requested they be moved flush to back side of garage wall and flush to chain link fence post (there were 4” gaps at both ends). He moved one post flush but refused to move the other end post. We asked if the job would be completed by end of day as we have an in-ground pool and for safety reasons, he stated that he was done for the day (10:00 am) leaving us having to block the open area for the week-end. We ended the job immediately. We contacted the contractor to request a partial refund $300 from deposit and he refused. We had to pay another installer $1,000 to complete the job.
