Consider yourself forewarned by this review. The original transmission company will rob you blind!!! I paid $3500 to have my transmission rebuilt in my truck by this company 2 1/2 years ago. I told him I was to get a 383 stroker put into it and so my 700 R4 needed to be beefed up to accommodate the new engine.. after getting the ****** rebuilt I had brought my truck in six times because it never worked right after they tried to rebuild it. Finally two years and two months after they supposedly rebuilt it, my ****** died and I went to them and told them and the Owner kicked me out of his shop, said he would not do anything to fix it because my two year warranty was up. Myself and my mechanic both were there and told him that I had brought my truck in six different times and that my warranty should still be valid. He refused and demanded I leave his shop. So I ended up going to ***************************** and transmission in ****** and had to pay another $5000 to have my ****** rebuilt again 2 1/2 years after having it supposedly rebuilt by the original transmission company. The folks at Allisons were awesome and documented and took pictures of everything that the original transmission company had done when they supposedly rebuilt my ******. Come to find out not only did they not rebuild the ****** at all. They also didn't add any beefy parts to accommodate my 383 stroker, they put a broken filter back in my ******, they drilled holes in my transmission where there shouldn't be and the guys at ********* pretty much told me it looked like a child or a monkey did it and that it didn't even make sense and that it looked like they didn't rebuilt it at all!! it looked like they took a transmission from another vehicle And just swap it out and didn't add any beefy parts. Now almost 3 years later, I have had to pay almost $10,000 and transmission rebuilds for my truck. The original transmission company and nothing but thieves in that place is a joke.!! Run far away!!

The transmission was done right and the cost was $2175.00 not $3500.00. ***** forgot to mention that she had her motor replaced 3 times and went through 7 carburetors and she changed to oversized tires, all can affect how transmission works. She let any back yard mechanic work on it and then would come in and want our shop to fix issues her mechanics created.  Most of the time she brought her truck in, it barely ran so it was very difficult to even address any issue she may have had with the transmission. She did not do what was told to do and yes after 6 visits and all the "work" she had done to her truck at other shops, and the fact that she was out of the warranty period, I told her we were done working on her truck.
