On the day of 1/29/23 due to my car having complications running I pulled into an apartment complex where I looked and noticed not 1 no parking signs or tow company business signs posted on the premises due to the starter being the issue of the vehicle I was unable to restart the vehicle to move it so I proceeded to a friends house to have him give me a ride back and help me push the vehicle out of the apartment complex the car was left unattended for no more than 4 hours when I return to the vehicle it was gone with no towing signs posted on the property I had no idea who to contact to locate my vehicle. After a couple unpleasant tenants slamming the door in my face and calling 3 different tow companies which took over an hour I finally figured out that a company named ****** towing previously Froggy's towing had my vehicle. After possessing it for only 3 hours they quoted me $350 to release it I was on my way out of town to start a new job and I could not be late that afternoon so I was forced to make a decision to just go to work and leave the vehicle for a few days and deal with it when I got back. The day I returned I went to the tow company w/ questions considering there wasnt any no parking signs or painted lines in the parking lot whatsoever for the apartments. The employee told me the bill was $1,075 after 6 days of storage and they're going rate is $75 a day even though they're sign posted in front of the building only says $50 a day. So upon doing the math I figured if they told me $350 the day it got towed and if all they should be charging me 75 dollars a day than it should of been $800. I called the rental company and they refused to provide pictures of the car. And the towing *** refused to do so as well. Today after 3 more days pulling side jobs to aquire the funds to pay for the bill. it was $1375 which doesn't add up either. Of course I voiced my opinion on the way I was being treated and he said $100 more because of my attitude Please help thnx
