After a very unpleasant and unsatisfying encounter with this company, I decided to post this review of Oregon Roof and Consulting. I found them to be dishonest, made fraudulent claims of service and crude. I have worked with ********************* before. Below are exerts from his website with my comments. They extol the "virtues and advantages" of hiring them: Explain the difference in the quality of various roofing materials and components. There is a difference. This was not done. I did not receive a call or email explaining anything. I sent to him the pertinent documents regarding the job (ie. contract and addendums). He never responded to the documents Make certain the contract document is adhered to, that corners are not cut, and that inferior components are not used on your project... *** never inspected what materials were being used before they were installed. When I asked him to come to the site on the morning of the job to meet with the contractor and inspect the materials he refused stating No, that's too early. I did that for too many years. A week before the job I emailed him asking to call my contractor, ****** Roofing to discuss the specs needed. He did not. When I called him the morning of the job after the roofing contractor began asking me various technical questions, I call *** and he immediately became irate, insulting, crass, and initially refused to talk with them. Unfortunately the review post will not allow me to continue, so in conclusion, *** never spoke with the contractor before hand or offered assistance as his website suggested.After I presented the above issues that I had with his service he verbally attacked me with disgusting bigoted innuendoes about cost which I never mentioned. He never addressed my concerns. It appears *** sees his good old boy world slipping away and he has become an angry and crusty old man who should retire.
