    We are senior citizens who decided we want to spend the rest of our lives together. Looked into renting and buying at the same time. We had an application in to buy a manufactured home and in case it didnt happen we went here to fill out an application for one that was for rent. We were told we were second in line and that there was a fee. Asked if we should pay then or when we moved up to first in line. Were told it didnt matter and we gave them the money. Then we were told we went to first in line and we told them we were no longer interested and asked for our money back. They said they had already used it for back ground checks. If we had waited to give it to them they would not have had it to use. We also found out that the owner had decided not to rent but to sell it instead.

    House wasnt ready at move in like promised. They had outdated fire/smoke alarms in house told us in was our job to let them know. They were past service life before we moved in. Garage door opener broke but had to spend a hour of our time figuring that out the missing a day of work for them to repair it. We had to clean plugged drains in the master bath sink and shower both wouldnt drain at move in. Had to remove garbage from back yard and garage at move in. ******* had mold in in that they say isnt a issue advertised with a big HotTub that didnt work 8months to get a new one. Old batteries in fire/smoke a d the carbonmanoxide alarm. They are required by law to replace with every new tenant moving in no shelving or rod ** the 2nd bedroom The closet

    Tenant moved in on 9/03/2021. On 9/17/2021 tenant emailed our office saying that there were a few maintenance issues that he submitted a request for and then said that the showers and sinks didn't drain, but that he had already fixed them. He did not give us the opportunity to address the issues with our handyman but instead decided to fix the items himself, something we would not have asked him to do. It's not a law that carbon alarms/smoke alarms get replaced with every new tenant. The alarms were all in working order (we test them and photograph them) prior to the tenant moving in. In fact during his 90-day inspection, it was noted that he had tampered with one of the smoke alarms by letting it hang from the ceiling. We did waive the $250 fee allowed in ****** for tampering with smoke alarms and he accepted. In regards to the hot tub not working, tenant was offered a choice of a rent credit or a brand new hot tub. Tenant chose to get a new hot tub. The hot tub then had to be ordered and an electrician had to be hired to install. It took time to do all of that, but that is what the tenant wanted.Tenant let us know in an email that we had "done great getting stuff taken care of" and confirmed that all issues had been addressed. Now a year later he is bringing up stuff that had already been addressed at move in and that we confirmed with him had been addressed to his satisfaction.

    It is a law they replace batteries with every new tenant and they must replace the smoke alarms every 10 years per fire ******** rules. Two were expired begire we moved in and the batteries were old wire out. I f go Ave them time to fix the toilet and sink and bathtub drain. I was told the liked in the garbage wasnt there and if it was wasnt a harm to us.
