            We hired Portland Movers Ready on 11/14/22 to move our 12K hot tub and other furniture from our NE Portland house to another NE Portland property. Upon delivering the hot tub to it's new location the front side panel was broken by the movers. When the owner was contacted he said it was not their fault and it was cheap plastic. We were able to write down what happened and have the ******* sign it, but they demanded to be paid in cash and did not provide a receipt. We called him again and told him we would obtain a quote to replace the broken hot tub panel and he said he would see then.He never replied to our emails, texts messages and or calls. The hot tub panel replacement cost $592.48 and even though we have sent him the information, the owner *********************** has yet to reply.We would like them to cover the replacement of the panel that was broken by their movers.

            Right from the get-go, Portland Movers was on top of it. Unlike with other moving companies I had contacted, it was easy to get a hold of someone by phone, schedule/change my move date, and get a clear, accurate estimate. ***** and ******* were professional, efficient, and responsive. They arrived on time, were swift and organized, and did an impressive job not just carrying things out/in the door but also securing them in the truck. I haven't noticed any bumps, scrapes, or damage to my old place, new place, furniture, or belongings. The whole move was over and done with in less than 2 hours, which had me floored. My old place had 3 floors, my new place is on the second floor, I moved a few miles away - and they still got everything done within 2 hours. As a note, Portland Movers is cash only. While this isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, it did take some pre-planning and preparation, especially in the event that things took longer than anticipated (which it didn't, in my case).
