Hi, I have been a member of massage envy for over 5 years and have become increasingly frustrated with my membership. I have been trying to use my 10 1/2 hours of prepaid massages for well over a year because there are no therapists available to schedule with. I requested to have my membership paused so I can catch up. I was told they no longer allow this and i would lose the 10.5 prepaid if I cancelled my membership. I have tried continuously to make appointments for a massage but have been told they are booked up and will not take anymore massage appointments until they open up the next bunch of dates, currently no new appointments are being scheduled until sometime Mid March. I did make an appointment for my husband and I several weeks ago to celebrate Valentines day. I had a 90 minute massage for me and a 50 minute for my husband with a female therapist. Last weekend I was informed that my 90 minute massage was cancelled due to lack of therapists, and my husbands 50 minute massage was changed to a male therapist. I decided to use the 50 minute myself and it was the worst massage i have ever had. Not only did ***** not use a firm pressure, when I asked for it during our massage, I checked in for the appointment at 6:59 PM waited the normal 5 minutes to be brought back and was on the **********:14. I had a mediocre massage at best, and ***** was done at 7:45 and checked out at the front desk at 7:51 PM. My massage was only ***** minutes tops. I was there on time, checked in and taken back late and released early. I was shorted 20 minutes of massage. I complained to front desk and they said ***** get that complaint a lot and there was nothing they could do for **** am requesting a full refund for my most recent massage on 2-14-24 and to be allowed to put my account on hold so i can use the massages i have already purchased.
