    The owner fired me on the first day of training because I'm unhoused. He asked me where do I bathe, where do I live and if I have children. Roughly an hour later he had a final check for me and stated that I didn't meet qualifications. He also made disgusting comments about how only women should work in housekeeping and giggling about it. They were not practicing safe procedures against COVID-19. The linens that were cleaned came in contact with the soiled linens they had just taken from the rooms. The ******** who was training me wasn't wearing gloves until I asked for some. The housekeeping manager had to go retrieve some from her car because the owner didn't make any available. Based on my experience I would never request a room there until I knew they had new ownership.

    I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel that I was frequently staying with! I was unable to retrieve my belongings before check out because they shut off my door key. The manager "Jarvis Melton" told me that he was told to make getting my things back as hard as possible. He asked me what my work schedule was like (mon-fri 7am-330pm) he then told me that I could only come to get my property from 10-3pm Monday through Friday purposefully conflicting my schedule. Finally today, with only 3 days to spare before the 30 days they are legally obligated to keep the property before disposing of it, I got my property with SOOOO many of my things missing. I don't have the keys to my car (that is still in their parking lot and I'm going to have to have it towed and a new key cut for it), my Xbox one, some of my makeup, some hygiene products, some clothing, a pair of brand new Nike shoes, my tablet and quite a few other items just vanished. I called them and they tell me nope everything was all there. That's a lie. I left with only my purse before being locked out for good.. Now they want to tell me that the Portland police took my items but they cannot provide me with anything proving that. No evidence slip, no nothing and that just makes no sense to me. The manager was the most unhelpful, disrespectful and just down right the most unprofessional person I have ever come in contact with that claims to manage such a business that's all about hospitality and excellence. I used to go there monthly to stay for a week or two but never again will I make such a mistake. I have receipts to prove the things that have come up missing and I will be taking the appropriate steps to hold them legally responsible!
