Pure slime. They lie about making contact with you, then get a court order to take all your money.

You better think twice about using this business to collect debt. I never saw an original bill from 5 years ago, and got hit with a doozy in the mail. Also, I was not aware that my doctor would use this business for my procedure, so it was not on my radar. Plus, the original place of business had conveniently "wiped my file," so they could not tell me what address they had to send me the first bill.

Valley Credit Service called me in ****, demanding payment for a bill I NEVER even SAW, for a Doc that saw me in **** in the ****************** ER. I told them then that I should NEVER BE BILLED for this Drs ER VISIT BECAUSEI HAD ****** ******** coverage on the Date of Service! However, these thieves garnished and received from my financial institution, OPCCU, $1331.55 of my monthly, FIXED INCOME of $1380 in January of 2023! Its against the *** they even CONTACTED ME! I called the ****** ***************** VERIFIED that I WAS COVERED in **** w/the **** just last week! They said the Statute of Limitations does NOT EVEN ALLOW A PATIENT TO BE BILLED/GARNISHED FOR a MEDICAL BILL AFTER 7 years from the date of service! FROM **** because it is after 7 YEARS from the service date! But21 YEARS later, in January of 2023, I WAS GARNISHED & OPCCU did NOT EVEN HESITATE TO PAY THIS FRAUDULENT so-called BUSINESS, VALLEY CREDIT SERVICE, $1331.55 of my $1380/mo FIXED INCOME! OPCCU left me ONLY $48.45 for the month to pay rent, bills and provide for my 8 y. o. granddaughter who Ive been blessed to raise since she was 7.5 mos old. VALLEY CREDIT SERVICE and OPCCU ARE BOTH OBVIOUSLY IGNORANT to the **** that It is AGAINST THE *** to have left me only $18.45 for January 2023. HOW COULD THEY THINK I COULD EVEN SURVIVE off $18.45 through January 2023? BOTTOM LINE-THIS WHOLE INCIDENT WAS WRONG FROM THE INITIAL CALL THEY MADE TO ME IN **** because I NEVER EVER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS BILL FROM THE BEGINNING! WHY IS VALLEY CREDIT SERVICE STILL BEING ALLOWED to do BUSINESS? THEY CLEARLY DO NOT CARE CARE ABOUT /FOLLOW THE ***!? On *************** Credit Union has seriously gone DOWN HILL since ****! Im leaving them after all these years because their customer ********************** seems to no longer exist, at all.. IT SEEMS THEY ARE PARTNERS w/ VALLEY CREDIT SERVICE possibly? Very scary

I challenge any company that is even considering doing business with VALLEY CREDIT SERVICE to think twice. If you run a reputable professional business, as I do, you do not want to be affiliated with this company. THEY PUSH THE **** COLLECTIONS RULES TO THE OUTER LIMITS.This company is far, very far from A+. It may be true they have been in business since the 1930's, BUT they obviously must have been collecting for loan sharks. They are extremely unprofessional with their antagonistic language and temperament. They want to go right to court without negotiating, even on medical bills, which almost 50% of US citizen's incur at some point in life. Those they intimidate don't retort Friends it is easy to file a small claim, if that is what you want. Save money and do it yourself. They are taking advantage of those in hardship through intimidation tactics; No different from the loan sharking bone breakers of the old days. Bottom of the barrel collections tactics that push the line of legality. This company will shortly be undergoing an investigation looking into their bullying tactics. I feel sorry for the everyday people that come in contact with them.I will not do business with anyone that uses VCS. I encourage all others to do the same. This behavior is their policy. Not just a particular collector. They are no doubt trained to behave unprofessionally. ******* and refusing payment so they can get judgements is abusive to the over worked court system and the consumer. They do this even if the company they represent would benefit with negotiation.My business association group will hear of this as well.In the end I try to keep my customers, even if they have fallen behind. I have had loyal customers for years regardless. In my encounters, working with my clients benefits my business. There are many collection companies that maintain professionalism, but not VALLEY CREDIT SERVICES based out of ******/Salem OR.
