              7/8 I took my car to Battery Exchange in Hillsboro to get Alternator fixed. 7/9 Car over Heated and found out that while battery exchange was fixing Alternator they broke radiator, Hose was broken completely off ( I have video) . ( They were closed I left them a message) 7/10 **** at Battery exchange came to my home, filled radiator and drove my car to the shop. They put in a new radiator and brought car back to me on 7/11 7/12 7/13 I drove both those days and then was gone for weekend (did not drive car over weekend) 7/17 attempted to drive car, lights on car shaking and smoke coming out the back .7/18 they towed car to their shop and advised I need a new head gasket or engine.7/18-7/20 Battery exchange keeps calling me and telling me there is only one option and that is to go to a mechanic they know and have him put in a used motor. They also offered some cash to get me back on the road 7/20 I called my mechanic and he steps in and he calls them and asks for insurance information even though I have told them I no longer want to speak to them and to only speak to my mechanic they will not give him their insurance information. Per my mechanic they should have had a rental car for me this whole time. They need to total out my vehicle. 7/20 or 7/21 my mechanic tows vehicle to his shop to do a review of the vehicle. Car is a total loss. We have asked them for I believe $8500.00 (you are more than welcome to call my mechanic as he was the one who valued my car with KBB I think and spoke to them on what we were requesting) This included the value of my car, time loss from

              The one star is appropriate for this business. And that's only after speaking to *********************** at the ****************************************** corporate location. I purchased a ***** month battery in March of 2019. Come November of 2021 (32 months later) I call **** at my local shop and he tells me to bring it in and test it to figure out what's going on. I bring my 2014 Tahoe to the ************************************ shop on 11/16/21. **** greeted me at the counter, and when I explain why I have come in, begins to state it's probably an issue with my remote key fob. I let him know that wasn't possible as a new battery was place in it not too long ago. I ask if he could test it (as I was told over the phone - that's what would happen) **** didn't seem to happy with my request but did do it - to tell me that my battery was only about 30% charged - and the only way to determine if it was a faulty battery was to take it out of the Tahoe and charge it, and then place it under load. Being a single mother and full time nurse - I could not leave my vehicle. I did have my mechanic friend come the next day and charge my battery (which he stated initially was 78%) and charged it for over 6 hours. At that time it showed 99% charged and at 13 volts at rest. A load was then applied that dropped it to under 11 volts (which seemed excessive) He recommended I get a second opinion. I then take my Tahoe to ******** (who I have experience with and trust) and explain the issue, and my driving patterns and looks all through the vehicle for any potential electrical drainage issues. **** finds none - and states if this were THEIR battery, they would replace it. I then call back to speak with **** at Hwy 99 and explain how I followed their recommendations and what was found. **** says, "well you have to bring it in to be put on our professional chargers so we can determine it's a faulty battery." I explain this whole process had been completed. He then states - well bring it in and we'll replace it for $78.00" WOW - in March of 2019 I paid ****** for the battery and 32 months later, they want over half the cost of a new one to replace it!! Well - at this point, I would like to know about their business practices and find the corporate office and speak with ***********************. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He states that he doesn't believe it is the key fob and offers to replace the battery at about $42.00. I inform ***** at this point that after my discussion with Gaynors and my mechanic friend (who has been a professional mechanic for over 25 years) it would seem appropriate and comparable to other community battery providers to replace it ***************** etc) ***** states that being threatened with bad reviews won't change their practices or get me a free battery. I explain to ***** that my intention is not to get a free battery (as my confidence in their practices, and what is placed into my vehicle and how they value their customers and position in the community) is now non-existent. I would rather go to an entirely new company - such as Gaynors or ****** or anywhere else, than to continue to do business with Large conglomerate companies whose only continued interest is to get as much from paying customers they can and not provide any kind of service or value to the customer. I feel the world is changing - and we have a choice WHERE to spend our hard earned money. I don't believe - we want to continue to support these abhorrent business practices and I am doing my duty to let others know - EXACTLY how this business operates. Do not utilize this corporation if you're interested in anything other than being manipulated for their profits. Enjoy your dinner tonight *******************************, President - as it's on me tonight. But I surely hope other's realize how you're being fed.
