“National Warranty Corporation does not make telemarketing calls and does not use a third party to make such telemarketing calls on its behalf. However, it has come to our attention that competing businesses or marketers improperly identifying themselves as “National Warranty Company” have been calling consumers. Because such companies use the generic “National Warranty Company” name, if a consumer does an internet search for “National Warranty Company,” the consumer sees contact information for National Warranty Corporation for the top entries.
National Warranty Corporation has tried diligently to identify the entity or entities behind the calls but unfortunately to date has not been able to do so. We have tracked and investigated several calls, but the numbers have been spoofed. None of the calls were made by or on behalf of National Warranty Corporation. For many of the calls, the number that shows on the caller ID leads only to a recording about being placed on a Do Not Call list, with no ability to speak to a live person.
National Warranty Corporation will continue its efforts to identify the companies or marketers behind the calls and will do everything possible to have the calls stopped. To respond to the review appropriately, we will need further information. If we could be provided with a copy of the contract or the vehicles VIN, we can perform a more thorough search and respond to the issue(s) raised in the review. The information may be sent to ***************************** Please refer to this BBB review in the subject line of the email.
The language that appears in our contracts are very similar to this: "What to do in the event of a failure" In some cases, "You may be required to authorize the repair facility to inspect or tear down Your Vehicle to determine the cause and cost of the repair. You will be responsible for these charges if the Failure is not covered by this Contract. We reserve the right to require an inspection of Your Vehicle prior to any repair being performed. We reserve the right to move Your covered Vehicle to another repair facility".
We cannot, and do not deny claims that are not diagnosed to determine coverage eligibility. We would like the opportunity to review this claim and respond to our customer.
