    Drove my **** Datsun 510 to their location on June 8, 2021 to have some electrical work completed. I asked that my lights be brought up to a safe level that would make sure that my vehicle was legal to drive on city streets. We also discussed having them fix my windshield wipers and the heater in side the vehicle. The owner offered to put in a radio as well. We discussed a quote of approximately $1000 with a completion date at the end of the month, which was approximately 2-3 weeks. The vehicle was not ready when I was told that it would be and when I would call to get an update on the status of vehicle they continuously gave me excuses and being told that they "needed a little longer". Well the "little longer" stretched into 13 months. In July 2022- I showed up at their location. My vehicle had been sitting in their yard without a hood getting exposed to the weather and elements. My vehicle *****, the steering column was torn out and the car did not run. I was told that they forced the wrong key into my ignition and that they locked it in. My wife and I were quite upset, they told us that they would have the car ready in a few days. When I showed up to pick up my vehicle, none of the work we discussed had been done, but without contacting me, they changed out my manual choke carburetor and put in a used junk automatic choke carburetor that does not work. They also changed out my distributor which was also NOT discussed. My car that I drove to them in, is now sitting dead in my driveway after towing it home. We were charged $1300 and given a "discount" that brought the total to nearly $1000. We paid it in full just to get our car back. Since then I have been calling trying to get my manual choke carb returned so that I can do my own work. I wouldn't trust them to touch my car ever again. Please, any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.
