I took my $1,600 Miele C3 vacuum into A Cleaner Place in ********, ******** to get it repaired and serviced.***** did not actually fix my machine. Instead he claims he super-glued the defective piece. The piece was still clearly broken when I arrived to pick it up after leaving it within him for 3 weeks. He could have and should have easily warrantied the defective part(s), according to Miele corporate.***** did not install the new bag correctly, either. So after a few days of using my Miele, tons of dust, dirt, crud etc. I sucked up bypassed the bag and filled the motor, circuit board, bag compartment, housing, and more. He refused to take responsibility for this and refused to refund my money. Instead, he told me to vacuum it back out with another vacuum and that it would be okay.I didnt buy a Miele because I wanted an okay vacuum. I bought it because I wanted a MIELE. I bought it because I wanted a well-built, super hygienic machineits not hygienic anymorenot after taking it to ***** at A Cleaner Place. By the way, ***** is the store owner.After this, I had to send my Miele to ********, where its currently getting an overhaul. They said Steves negligence caused a ton of easily preventable damage; and that it they are replacing the motor, circuit board, bumper, and lower housing due to the condition the breached dust bag caused.They also said it looks like the unit was never actually disassembled for repair at all and that it looks like ***** only put new bag in it. They could not find the super glue where it would have been, where ***** said he used it (front of the bumper).I guess I should have checked it myself instead of trusting this Miele* dealer to put a Miele bag in a Miele vacuum.Please follow this link to video a video of what happened.
